I just want to say that I'm not some kind of pro X games player that shares his knowledge he obtained during 10 years of playing it. I've never played any X game before I got X3. That was 4 days before I started writing this. I started as a Humble Merchant and I was struggling and trying to make enough money to get something real going, trading Ore and Energy Cells and stuff.

I got about 70k in my first day, and then I discovered Kingdom's End. That beautiful place, that doesn't really interest beginning traders, because it doesn't sell anything good for them.

But it has stock market that you can access. I've got about 50 million Credits in ships and stations now, 20 million Credits invested in shares and 15 million Credits on my account.

EDIT- As The Human Turtle and jacka. You don't HAVE to go to Kingdom's End to do this, but it's what I did and I'm just sharing my opinions here.

Each stock has requirements for you to access it, IMO Boron is the easiest to achieve, because it's really close, travelling there does not put you at risk of running into pirates, and you need only one rank up to use it. If you don't want to rank up with Boron, go to Seizewell and pay 10 Credits to Teladi to acces stock.

I don't like paying, so yeah. Credits SETA Trading System Extension Time Knowledge how the stock exchange works Credits. This method is not for everyone, in MMO terms it's basically farming gold on mobs for hours.

You have been warned. What next you ask? How much do you have? At 2 millions you make really nice money with investing it further But maybe you want to start your trading empire? Go ahead and buy one trading ship and MK3 trading software, and set it to sector trader. That should take less than 1 mil Cr, so you will have enough money to invest in MOAR SHARES. Really though, you can't expect me to tell you how to play this game, I presented you one way of making money, what you spend it on is not my business.

Hope my guide helped you, safe travels: Oh wait, you want to read a little more in detail? Okay then, let's go. So remember, big numbers are cool to see, but don't necessarily mean you're getting the most you could. Feeling like it's too long, you know some stuff already or just want a quick summary? TOG Zalzany 22 Nov, But does this get me rep? I got money right now but no rep doing simple low profit runs right now universe is still stabilzing, so every one is out of power and no high end products are pilling up.

Jambi - sure, if you buy the shares when they're high and sell them while they're low you will lose money. But if you buy the shares when they're at their lowest, you can't lose money on those unless you sell when they're the same price.

Jambi 25 Jun, 1: Can i lose all my money if share prices go lower like real world stock trading? I managed to break my game but strickly speaking I wasnt cheating. I mined nevidum and transported it to PTNI headquarters. I would then buy nevidium stocks. The stock market would see iam carrying alot of nevidium and lower down the price. Then you dump the nevidium out into space.

Suddenly the stock market thinks nevidim is realy rare again and the price jumps up. Pick up the floating nevidium. Rinse and repeat, dozens of times. I dont have company index? FacelessAegis 21 May, 7: Chan-Tzu Ti 2 Jan, 4: For the local stock markets you really really need to get familiar with the trends and deep certain stock will fall and rise.

A good indication is also supply and demand and keeping track of when there's a huge supply that will most likely only drop. From then on it's a real waiting game. Wait long enough and you'll make K in one go, but it'll take a lot of waiting.

With the local market you can also 'bet' on green index figures below but above ish and speculate it will drop to say 60 or Some local shares do and with those you can make a profit in almost no time. You can access Corporate Stock Exchange from personal menu [default key: To gain access to local stock exchanges, you must find them and then meet a requirement for each one: Teladi require the payment of 10, credits. The Yaki require 7 Slaves, 14 Space Fuel, or 4 Space Weed.

The Split require a minimum fight rank of Enlisted. The Boron require a minimum economic rank of Trader. The Paranid require a faction rank of Friend of Priest.
