I signed up with Aunt Ann's in May I was told that I had a great resume but never got any referrals to prospective employers nor calls to update me on any job openings. I called them sometime in July only to be told that most of their clients are on summer vacation and that they will keep me posted. They are not responsive and I did not feel that they were enthusiastic in helping me at all. I am totally disappointed. I went to Town and Country and signed up on Aug 25 , I got placed right away on Sept 5, I am so pleased!

They hung in there with me and never forgot me. Suddenly, I had 3 interviews within 2 weeks and found the job that worked out perfectly for both me and my employers. They kept in touch with me during the entire process and have always added that personal touch which means a lot to me. I just recently used Aunt Ann's for mom's helpers and had no negative experience with disorganization or lack of responsiveness.

I've been able to do most of my requesting and business via email. They have always been prompt and delivered the goods to me. I think they do an excellent job placing their nannies with the correct family.

No fee for applicants-- just a job! I needed a nanny. I didn't get one from them! All I can really say is that they don't actually respond to requests from their website. If you put up a website with a contact form, you'd better make such requests an integral part of your business! I had an awkward experience with this agency. After interviewing and registering with them, they informed me that my background was great and since I was open to working in many areas, the job search would be efficient.

However, several months later and only one interview under my belt, I decided to head over to Town and Country Resources with my resume. They are WAY better than Town and Country Resources. Had a very poor experience with Aunt Ann's. My husband and I were looking for a nanny for our new born son. They were slow in responding to us. When they finally did it made our search timeline kind of desperate. Their receptionist handled our request because they were apparently short staffed at the time. The owner or head of the team loved to drop names of the famous people who were clients.

I actually thought at the time it was a good sign. We requested upfront that we only wanted to talk to people who would be paid above the table. Nevertheless, despite assurances that the ones they sent and the one we eventually hired understood this, the nanny we hired kept badgering later to be paid under the table. We did not do that, but it was only one of the issues that came up with that nanny.

That nanny though of course recommended highly by Aunt Ann's also turned out bad in multiple other ways. I realize Aunt Ann's can't know everything about the people they place, but in retrospect I felt they were disrespectful in response when I brought up the issue of not being well handled by the admin or whoever was trying to fill in for the regular people, and also ultimately the recommendation of the owner was a bad one.

They also never followed up with us on the experience or whether we would recommend that nanny again. The nanny I was later told by neighbors who saw her out with my son in the local parks and in the neighborhood tended to be nice to my child when I was around, but not as attentive when I wasn't.

There were many other problems with that nanny, but I do not trust Aunt Ann's. I subsequently used Stanford Park Nannies fortunately and had a great experience. I met them in person, and the nannies we interviewed seemed of much higher quality. Also, we hired one from Stanford Park Nannies who still helps us out occasionally. She also helps out various other friends as well who also came to trust her.

We had also originally contacted Town and Country when we contacted Aunt Ann's. They were even less responsive than Aunt Ann's.
