From administering vitals to performing venipunctures and aiding in donor reactions, this position is far from boring. I gained valuable experience as a phlebotomist, and I also increased my level of professionalism tremendously while at Biolife.

The staff treat everyone with respect and have outstanding attitudes. The hardest part of the job is working hours that prevent you from keeping a regular schedule outside of work. The most enjoyable part of the job is easily the environment, because of how dedicated and caring each employee is.

I don't like going to work dreading the day! I can overlook the management team being green- we all are green here. But when the big boss seems to like making people feel stupid- that's not a good place to work for anyone! So my rating is for Pasco, Wa- but Haden, Idaho and Bellingham, Wa. The culture at BioLife Plasma Services was very rewarding. It felt great knowing that I actually was helping in the creation of life saving therapeutic medications. When I worked for BioLife, my schedule was all over the place. Sometimes I would be working 5 hours a day in the morning, while others I would be scheduled for 10 hours throughout the day.

Instead of giving their employees the holidays to spend with their families, they would run promotions to get donors to come in and schedule more employees on those days. It was great knowing that I made a difference working there, but I ended up quitting because my children were more important to me than my job.
